I’m Dave, founder of Waking the Dead Coffee Co.  From the beginning when I created this company, I didn’t want to just provide great tasting coffee.  I wanted to use it to give back to a community I care about.  As a Paramedic, I’ve seen people and families at their worst.  It’s a horrible feeling being in a room full of people, but feel like you’re the only one there.  The thing is we’re not alone.  I want to be able to bring people together.  I believe coffee is one way of doing that.  We also partner with non-profit organizations like HeartSupport, an organization that focuses on mental health and reaching out to community members.

I used to think good tasting coffee had to be made by big name brands.  It wasn’t until I started this journey that I realized what good tasting coffee really was.  Our coffees are sourced from around the world.  It isn’t processed until you place your order.  Which means once your order is placed it’s roasted in small batches, ground (if you desire), bagged, and then shipped all within 1-2 business days.  You should then receive your order within 3-5 business days after being shipped.  So you get to enjoy fresh coffee the way it was intended.  If you’ve ever experienced warm fresh baked bread, handmade tortillas, or handmade pasta, you notice the difference in comparison to mass produced goods.  Coffee is the same way.  With Waking the Dead Coffee Co, you know you’re getting a quality product.  It also makes your mailbox smell amazing.

Coffee is an exceptional reason to get together and spend time with each other.
